What's Cooking? Share Your Favorite Recipes!
Do you have a dish that’s always the star of the potluck, the one they always ask, “Can I get that recipe?” Maybe your family begs you to make that one recipe all the time.
Well, now’s your chance to share your culinary magic with the community!
We’re excited to announce a delicious new feature in our newsletter—and on our Facebook page—spotlighting your favorite, most-requested, or most-loved recipes! Whether it’s Grandma’s famous casserole, your go-to dessert, or a hearty stew that warms the soul, we want to showcase the dishes that make your kitchen the heart of the home. We’re looking for the dishes that make you proud to say, “I made that!”
Here’s how it works:
Start digging through your recipe box, saving your favorite file, or jotting down that crowd-pleaser you’ve perfected.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
Your favorite or most-requested recipe. The dish everyone asks you to bring to gatherings (and that always comes back empty)
Pictures are optional, but we’d love to see [and share]:
— You in the kitchen whipping up your masterpiece
— You holding the dish you’re submitting
— Or just a pic of the dish itself
Not a professional chef? No problem! This isn’t about fancy—it’s about fun, flavor, and family favorites.
Each week, we’ll highlight a new recipe in the newsletter and feature it on our Facebook page too, giving you (and your dish) a little local fame.
So, start planning which recipe you’ll submit— narrowing down your most drool-worthy recipes, whether it’s your grandma’s famous casserole, your go-to chili recipe, or that dessert no one can resist.
We can’t wait to see (and share) what’s cooking in your kitchen!
Please share your interest in this new section:[Feel free to elaborate in the box below. Your responses are anonymous] |
Answer in Thursday’s newsletter!
Which species of monkey is known for using stones as tools to crack open nuts, making it one of the few non-human animals to use tools in the wild? |
D) Its expandable throat pleats
The blue whale, the largest mammal on Earth, can consume up to 4 tons of krill daily thanks to its expandable throat pleats. These pleats allow the whale's mouth and throat to expand immensely, enabling it to take in large volumes of water and prey before filtering out the water through its baleen plates.
