From Living Room to Local Legacy: How One Family Turned Clean Floors into a Community Mission

In a quiet corner of southeast Texas, what began as a household project transformed into a mission to bring comfort, cleanliness, and care to homes across the region. The family behind this carpet, tile, and upholstery steam cleaning business didn’t set out to launch a company—they simply wanted cleaner carpets.

But like many great ventures, necessity sparked curiosity. After testing a range of DIY cleaning methods with less-than-impressive results, this family, backed by experience in construction, education, and logistics, discovered the remarkable power of steam cleaning. It wasn’t just about lifting stains—it was about refreshing entire spaces, eliminating hidden pests, and restoring the feel of “home.”

Today, their family- and veteran-owned business serves homes and businesses throughout the area with a level of professionalism and care that only passion and firsthand experience can deliver. They specialize in steam cleaning for carpets, rugs, tile & grout, and a variety of upholstery items—from sofas and recliners to mattresses and more.

What truly sets them apart isn’t just the state-of-the-art equipment or their expertise (though those certainly help). It’s their no-nonsense, transparent approach to service. No hidden fees. No rushed jobs. Just honest, meticulous work tailored to the customer’s specific needs. Whether it's a small spot or a whole-home refresh, every job is treated with the same high standard of quality.

But their commitment doesn’t stop at spotless floors. As active members of the Mont Belvieu Area Chamber of Commerce and the South-East Texas Better Business Bureau, they take pride in supporting the very communities they serve. Most recently, they’ve sponsored the Special Needs Accessible Easter Egg Hunt, hosted by the Functional Abilities Organization on April 19 at the Old River-Winfree Community Building. It’s a joyful, inclusive event designed especially for children with special needs and their families—a cause close to their hearts.

In a world where clean spaces can mean comfort, dignity, and peace of mind, this local cleaning team isn’t just in the business of appearances—they’re in the business of better living.

Orange Flare from ExxonMobil Plant Illuminates Baytown Sky

A large orange flare lit up the Baytown skyline Wednesday night as safety systems were activated at the ExxonMobil Olefins Plant on Decker Drive following an operational issue.

The incident, which occurred around 8 p.m. at the facility located at 3525 Decker Drive, resulted in visible flaring and elevated noise levels. ExxonMobil confirmed the flaring was part of a standard safety response and assured the public that there was no threat to the community.

While the company did not disclose the exact nature of the operational problem, it stated that plant personnel are actively working to restore normal operations. Officials reported that site conditions had improved since the flaring began.

No injuries or shelter-in-place orders were reported. ExxonMobil issued an apology for any inconvenience caused by the flare’s brightness and associated noise, reiterating that safety remains a top priority.

The bright orange glow, visible from across Baytown, sparked concern and curiosity among residents. However, plant officials maintain that the situation remains under control and poses no danger.
