Baytown Police Department
Asking for Your Help
Working with our partners at Chambers County Sheriff's Office:
If you are a survivor of adult sexual assault, please help us by providing feedback on your experience here: https://form.jotform.com/chamberscountysart/survey....
The Chambers County Sexual Assault Response Team, a multi-disciplinary team made up of local law enforcement agencies, prosecutors, victim services agencies, medical care providers, and mental health providers, is working to identify gaps in care and find areas for improvement for survivors of adult sexual violence in Chambers County.
It is our sincere hope that if you are a survivor of adult sexual assault, you will help us in this endeavor by completing this brief, anonymous, survey. While we understand there are countless survivors of child sexual abuse, the focus of this survey is on assaults that occur on adult victims. If you have been both a victim of adult and child sexual abuse, please focus on the assaults that happened when you were an adult. It is important to note that if you are a survivor and wish to report a sexual assault, completing this survey will NOT trigger an investigation. If you are in a dangerous or life-threatening situation, you should always call 911.

2025 Bay Area Rescue Challenge
Event Recap
After 15 continuous hours of technical rescues, knot-tying, simulated victim saves, and a strong showing of camaraderie—this year's Bay Area Rescue Challenge was a huge success.
We’re proud to share that we doubled the field from last year with:
• 42 Competitors
• 18 Judges
• And an outstanding display of teamwork, heart, and rescue spirit
For those unfamiliar, the Rope Rescue Challenge brings together fire department teams from across the region to compete in a series of timed, high-intensity rope rescue scenarios. It’s a chance for crews to sharpen their skills, learn from one another, and showcase the critical techniques used in real-world rescue operations.
A special thank you to our sponsors for their generous support:
Siddons-Martin Emergency Group
Maple Leaf Ropes
Ad-Centives
Ropes Edge
Frozen Frog
Thank you to everyone who participated, supported, and helped make the 2025 BARC a memorable and meaningful event. We’re already looking forward to next year!
