Baytown Industrial Storage Facility
Sold in Major Real Estate Deal

A 6.1-acre industrial outdoor storage facility in Baytown has been sold in a deal brokered by Marcus & Millichap. The property, located at 12825 Upland Way, was built in 2021 and was fully leased at the time of sale to EquipmentShare, a construction solutions provider.

The sale involved multiple brokers from Marcus & Millichap, with Peter Bauman and Tivon Moffitt representing the seller, a real estate investment trust (REIT). Meanwhile, Nick Geaneotes and Derrick Dougherty secured the buyer, a New York-based investor whose identity remains undisclosed.

To finance the purchase, Stephen Fillipo of Marcus & Millichap Capital Corp. arranged funding through a national credit union.

This transaction highlights the continued demand for industrial outdoor storage (IOS) properties in the Baytown and Houston area, driven by the region’s strong construction and logistics industries.

Must have a dependable vehicle, a valid drivers’ license, valid insurance, a backup driver in case of emergency, and be able to pass a drivers’ license and background check. Night duties include running a forklift and ensuring that newspaper carriers receive their papers for early morning delivery. You will also run two established routes and any down routes as needed. Additional duties may occur as needed. Forklift certification preferred, but we can train and certify.

Be a Carrier for The Baytown Sun. Be your own boss, work early mornings 3 days a week and finish early enough to enjoy the rest of your day! You must have a phone, a valid drivers’ license, valid insurance and a dependable vehicle. Must also be able to pass a background and drivers’ license check.
